Dumpling Discovery Walk

There's nothing
Melbournians like better than a plate of dumplings! But where to go? There's so
much choice! Visit several dumpling houses throughout the city that all do
something a bit different.

You'll visit 4
delicious venues over 3 hours – all in the central city area. The walk is
designed to show you a range of different dumplings at some of Melbourne's most
authentic places. We think they’re a collection of the best dumplings in town -
you won’t be disappointed! As a bonus - you might even learn something new
about how the Chinese have influenced Melbourne as well.

Vegetarians are
well catered for. Other dietary requirements (such as kosher or gluten
intolerant) will find it difficult. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements
at the time of booking.

Please wear
comfortable shoes and dress for the elements – please read the weather

About the provider

Walk Melbourne Tours, Saint Kilda, Victoria

4 Marriott Street,
Saint Kilda,

At Walk Melbourne Tours we love to share Melbourne's stories while we share food.  We operate small group walking tours focused in central Melbourne.

Since 2012, guests of Walk Melbourne Tours have experienced the things that Melbourne does better than anywhere else - dumplings, coffee, sweet treats and rooftop bars.

Each tour tells Melbourne's history, highlights our contemporary food culture and tells the stories of the people behind it.

Each tour includes stops at four locations over 2-3 hours to eat and drink.

Groups are kept to a maximum of ten people and Melbourne's sights, smells, tastes, sounds and textures are all central to the tourism experience we create.

Walk Melbourne Tours director, Monique Bayer, is the winner of the 2014 RACV Victorian Tourism Award for Youth Achievement.

She is also the author of 'Devouring Melbourne: uncovering a delicious city', which can easily be packaged with tours as a value add.
