There’s no better introduction to a city than hopping on a City Sightseeing Bus Tour! This bus tour allows you to hop on and off, at various stops around the city, so you gain as much as possible, from this inspiring location, during your stay.
Malta is an amazing island with over 7000 years worth of history and many attractions and places to visit. There are two routes to choose from (or do both!) and they begin from Sliema and head off to Malta’s Capital City Valletta. One of the tours then proceeds north to the Historic City of Mdina and towards the northern countryside, whilst the other heads south to the more historic side of the island with stops at prehistoric temples.
The capital Valletta was originally built by the famous Knights of the Order of St John. Here you can visit the 'Three Cities' and the Tarxien Temples, which is believed to have been built around 3000 BC. There will also be the opportunity to visit many sites including the Mosta Church and Dome, Ta’Qali Craft Village, St Agatha’s Catacombs and the medieval town of Mdina. For something different stop off at Marsaxlokk, a traditional and very picturesque fishing village and also the beautiful Blue Grotto.
During May to September Malta’s towns and villages have Festas celebrating patron and other revered saints. The streets, house and churches are decorated and there are stalls selling local gifts and items. There are also the magnificent aerial and ground fireworks displays that are not to be missed. This is just a handful of amazing things to see and do in this stunning city!
Don’t miss all the exciting things this city has to offer, with this amazing hop-on-hop-off bus tour!
