Full Description

There’s no better introduction to a place than hopping on a City Sightseeing Bus Tour!  This bus tour allows you to hop on and off, at various stops around the area, so you gain as much as possible, from this inspiring location, during your stay.

Surrounded by mountains at the head of a 70 mile fjord is one of the oldest Scandanavian capitals, Oslo. Founded in the 11th century by Harold Hardrada, the city offers amazing examples of where history meets modernity all amongst amazing surroundings.

There are plenty of museums to explore and learn about the amazing history of Norway from the Viking Ship Museum, where you will see the recovered ancient ships and learn about Viking life, to the Farm & Norwegian Maritime Museum, established in 1914 where there are displays of boat models, marine archaeology and marine paintings to the Ibsen Museum, dedicated to the 19th-century Norwegian playwright, theatre director, and poet Henrik Ibsen. After your fill of museums make sure to visit the Royal Palace and see the changing of the guard after a wander round the parkland. Learn about the history of the Akershus Slott (Akershus Castle) and enjoy the spectacular views from the top of the fortress. For a bit of culture make sure to visit the Oslo Opera House, built in 2008, and the Vigeland Sculpture Park, where you can enjoy the large collection of sculptures that portray Gustave Vigeland's observation of the themes of life and relationships. Not to mention, for shopping and architect fans, there is the Aker Brygge, a shopping centre that was once a shipyard. This is just a handful of amazing things to see and do in this stunning city!

Don’t miss all the exciting things this city has to offer, with this amazing hop-on-hop-off bus tour!
