Explore the last relatively untouched islands of Thailand. While tourism has arrived here as well, the two islands of Koh Yao - Koh Yao Noi (Little Long Island) and Koh Yao Yai - are not nearly as crowded as Phuket, Krabi or Koh Samui. Rather than overcrowded beaches and street vendors you will find pristine waters, a stress-free environment and beautiful flora and fauna here.
We cover a distance of approximately 85 km (53 miles) during the three cycling days. While some routes may be challenging, there is always the option to follow an easier road. Generally, the tour is suitable for anyone of a reasonable level of fitness.
The Koh Yao islands are approximately one hour from Phuket. Early in the morning you will receive a free pick-up from Phuket. We then head towards the pier to set over to Koh Yao Noi. Immerse yourself in the island lifestyle and cycle through rice fields, fishing villages, market towns, past mosques and through natural jungle.
We stay overnight in air-conditioned bungalows close to the beach. On Day 2, we head to Koh Yao Yai - the bigger island of the two. Discover the scenery here for another day.
On the last day, we take a boat trip to the surrounding islands (The “Three Islands”) where we can go swimming and snorkelling before returning to Phuket.
