A journey of Dubai’s past, present and future, enjoy a captivating boat experience and aerial views of Dubai and The World Islands on a memorable seaplane flight.
Make your own way to the starting point of your seaplane flight at Dubai Creek or Palm Jumeriah, two of Dubai iconic locations; one firmly in the present and the other a reminder of Dubai’s rich trading past.
Meet your pilot and get a safety briefing and details of your flight over the city and The World, the 300 reclaimed islands 2.5 miles (4 km) off the coast. The sandy islets are shaped to resemble a map of the world and look most impressive from above when you can clearly spot the countries and continents they form.
Then, board your 9-passenger seaplane, settle into the air-conditioned cabin, and enjoy the thrill as you take off from the water and ascend into the sky.
Soar over Dubai’s skyscrapers and look down on the Emirates Towers and winding ribbon of Dubai Creek from the large windows. Gaze at Sheikh Zayed Road, coast past the incredible Burj Khalifa tower, and trace the Arabian Gulf to Dubai Marina. Then, admire the sail-shaped Burj Al-Arab hotel and The Palm Island, where The Atlantis hotel rises imperiously from the sea.
Head further out over the Gulf to The World and behold the views as you fly over some of the 300 or more golden islands. Take photos as you circle around and identify the continents and countries below.
After roughly 40 minutes, splash down in a water landing and step back on land on one of the The World islands or Dubai Creek.
Depending on your departure location, you’ll board the a relaxing boat journey before or after your flight with and be entertained with a story of Dubai’s past and thrilling facts about the icons. Sit back and enjoy this scenic 25-minute boat journey to or from the Palm Jumeirah.
No matter your departure point, you’ll be met on the other end by a shared shuttle vehicle and whisked away to the Dubai Mall, where your experience finishes with a glimpse into how far Dubai’s trading history has come.
