2 Day Highland Experience Tour, Edinburgh

Day 1

Travelling north you will pass Glencoe, hearing of the terrible massacre of the MacDonald Clan.  You’ll enjoy the fantastic sweep up the Great Glen, before travelling past the striking Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain.  End the day by staying next to the shores of Loch Ness in the beautiful Drumnadrochit.

Day 2

Today is the day for monster hunting, you can choose from visiting Urquhart Castle*, Loch Ness Exhibition Centre* or hunt by the shore.

Drive through Inverness to visit the site of the battle of Culloden, before travelling south through the Cairngorms National Park.  Stopping at a distillery*, to discover how the water of life is produced!  Exploring the beautiful town of Pitlochry before arriving back in Edinburgh.
