Full Description

Day 1

The west of Scotland is packed with history dating back 5000 years and boasts stunning scenery, this tour will give you a great view of both.

Passing through Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park arriving in Kilmartin Glen, where you can walk in the footsteps of the first Scots at the Dunadd Hill Fort and the Temple Wood Stone Circle.

Day 2

Today you will travel through the haunting Glencoe where the massacre of the MacDonald Clan, and drive past the base of the highest peak in the UK, Ben Nevis. Stopping in Fort William and jump aboard the Jacobite Steam Train and travel over the Glenfinnan Viaduct.  Traveling on to the charming Isle of Skye, where you will spend the night.

Day 3

Enjoy a full day exploring the Isle of Skye’s stunning scenery and hidden gems.  There will be an array of photo opportunities throughout this day from the Cuillin Mountains to the astonishing Trotternish Peninsula.

Day 4

Leaving the stunning Isle of Skye behind you’ll visit the picturesque Eilean Donan Castle and drive through the dramatic Torridon Mountains. Arriving at Drumnadrochit, on the shores of Loch Ness, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5

Today is the final day of the tour, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the wonders of Loch Ness.  You could spend the morning visiting Urquhart Castle*, the Loch Ness 2000 Exhibition centre* or why not Nessy hunt from the shores.

Heading south, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the site of the famous Battle of Culloden, before passing through the Cairngorms.  There will be a stop on-route back to Edinburgh at a distillery* to discover how whisky is made.
