Olive Thomas was a Ziegfeld showgirl and former winner of “The Most Beautiful Girl in New York City.” She reportedly began haunting The New Amsterdam Theater in 1920 shortly after her ‘accidental’ death, which occurred after she swallowed the better part of a bottle of pills. After she died, stagehands at the theater began telling friends that they ran into Olive backstage. Impossible? Maybe. Learn about Olive and more Broadway history as you eat your way through quintessential New York desserts under the bright lights of Broadway on our Bright Lights and Broadway Bites NYC Dessert Tour.
